Dr. Natalia Nesterenko

Dr. Natalia Nesterenko graduated from Novosibirsk State Agrarian University in Russia in 1999. After an internship in a private clinic she moved to the United States with her husband in 2001.

Her veterinary career started in New York where she initially worked as a licensed tech while taking all of the extensive, difficult tests necessary to practice veterinary medicine in the United States.  Once she received her license, she began working as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. 

Dr. Natalia holds state licenses in New York, New Jersey and California.  A testament to her intelligence and experience!

In 2008, Dr. Natalia began working at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Hospital where she gained invaluable experience in Internal Medicine as well as Emergency and Critical Care.  Because it was a very busy hospital, she was able to see a very wide range of cases which gave her an expansive background with all aspects of veterinary care.  She is able to manage routine wellness visits as well as any emergency that comes through the door.  

In 2010, she and her family decided to make the move to CA.  She worked in a busy small animal clinic before joining the Animal Care Hospital team in March, 2012, and brings a new face and terrific medical knowledge to the team!  We are VERY happy to have her join us!

Dr. Natalia believes in offering the best medical care and more importantly, educating the clients so that they can make the best decisions for both their pet and themselves.  She feels strongly about learning new things and attends continuing education classes several times a year.  

In her spare time, Dr. Natalia can most often be found in the park with her daughters Polina and Olivia. She also enjoys reading, traveling and photography. She lives with her husband Dmitriy, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a guinea pig.
